Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation) is a flow of basic yoga postures gracefully connected to the breath. Surya Namaskar practice in the morning is a powerful way to awaken the body, focus the mind and set the right tone for the day. Physical benefits of regular practice include stretching and strengthening back, arms and legs, building core strength and boosting metabolism.
